Located in Hobart’s picturesque Salamanca Arts Centre, The Spindle Tree is a cooperative of artisans selling knitted, felted and woven clothing, homewares and handspun and hand dyed yarns. Drop in and view our range of high quality locally made products and craft supplies.
All items at The Spindle Tree are made in Tasmania by local fibre artisans.
Our items are made from natural fibres. They range from small baby wear to adult jumpers, woven wraps and a wide selection of accessories including hats, scarves and socks. We also stock a good selection of homewares including throws, table runners, cushions, trivets, tea towels and cotton facecloths.
We are proud stockists of Landscape dyes, Mongrel Socks and Tasmanian grown White Gum Wool.
